PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the space factor of a stator or reduce the distance between the teeth of magnetic pholes without decreasing the number of turns of the coil. SOLUTION: The stator comprises a circular stator core having a plurality of magnetic pole teeth arranged and extending in the radial direction at a distance therebetween in the circumferential direction, a coil 5 wound round each magnetic pole tooth 8 and a cylindrical insulative member 4 disposed in between the magnetic pole teeth 8. The insulative members 4 arranged on the sides of the magnetic pole teeth which are adjacent to each other, protrude in the circumferential direction partially according to their respective lengths, at the positions deflected to the thickness direction of the stator core.
