JOINING STRUCTURE OF SCANNER FRAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining structure of a scanner frame that can inhibit the deformation in a scanner frame that is provided in a copying machine having a discharge section for discharging paper where an image is copied directly below a scanner section for reading images on originals. SOLUTION: Mounting pieces 831 are provided at two places in front and back directions, where the mounting pieces are extended at a lower section nearly in parallel with a right-side frame 48 of a body frame 45 from an appropriate place at the inner side of a right-side plate 83 of a scanner frame 8. The mounting pieces 831 are joined to the right-side frame 48 by screws 50, and the right-side plate 83 of the scanner frame 8 is fixed to the right-side frame 48 having large stiffness in up and down directions of the main frame 45.
