摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electric energy storage unit and an electrode active substance used for the storage unit that are improved in output density and cycle characteristics by using lithium ion, which is advantageous for energy density, as an electrolyte ion. SOLUTION: This is a manufacturing method of a manganese compound electrode that is used in a non-aqueous electric energy storage unit such as a lithium ion capacitor or a lithium ion secondary battery or the like. By using +2 valence +7, preferably, +2 valence (divalent) manganese ion or its organic metal complex and the natural anion polymer or an anionic surfactant such as DNA, an ionic complex is generated in a solution, and then, using this as a reaction precursor, the reaction precursor is fired and generated at a temperature that does not crystallize the reaction precursor, and, the active material of the electrode is manufactured.
