PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety and cycle performance of a battery. SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises a positive plate, a negative plate and a separator. A porous polymer electrolyte is provided in an electrode of at least one of the positive plate and the negative plate, and fixation is applied at least either between the positive plate and the separator or between the negative plate and the separator.
