PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily output picture information on a television receiver. SOLUTION: A FAX adaptor provided with a FAX coupling means with a G3 facsimile machine, a network coupling means with an IP network line, and a control means that controls each means to convert packetized FAX information from the IP network line into a signal receptible by the G3 facsimile machine, to transmit the converted signal to the G3 facsimile machine, to convert FAX information from the G3 facsimile machine into packets and to transmit them to the IP network line, includes an image capture means for receiving an image on a television receiver to output image data and an image data conversion means for receiving the image data to convert the image into a signal receptible by the FAX coupling means. A control section executes capture control for controlling the image capture means to capture the received image at that point of time, conversion control for controlling an image data conversion means to apply conversion control to the image data and output control for outputting the converted image data to the G3 facsimile machine.
