PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard instrument which does not hinder the touch of keys even if the generation of striking tones is obviated by providing an outer side of a rotational moving range of a hammer head with a mechanism of stopping the rotational movement of a hammer just before striking. SOLUTION: The keyboard instrument is provided with a hammer head 13 which is stretched to be installed with a string 11 in a vertical direction and strikes this string 11 by moving rotationally and a hammer shank 14 installed consecutively therewith and is provided with a jack 33 for rotationally moving these by jerking up the same from below and a key for transmitting force to the jack 33. The instrument is provided with a projecting part 101 of the hammer shank 14 so as to project to the outer side of the rotational moving range of the hammer head 13. The instrument is provided with a hammer stopper 102 which touches this projecting part 101 just before the hammer head 13 strikes the string 11. The instrument is provided with switching means 106 for switching the touching or non-touching of the hammer stopper 102 and the projecting part 101. |
