DEVICE HAVING MAN-MACHINE INTERFACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device allowing a user to easily find the right control member and obtain warning on the dangerous control member, preventing unnecessarily diverting the user's attention to the functional direction, finding a group of the control members and demonstrating setting of the group of the control members. SOLUTION: This device having a man-machine interface to be used especially as a user control interface of an automobile comprises a means for detecting a user operation corresponding to a state on the verge of driving a control member and a means for temporarily disclosing direction of a selected function to the user by an output means at the time of detecting. When the user has not actually driven the control member even though on the verge of driving, the functional direction of the control member is temporarily made visible.
