PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise filter being used by inserting a wire into the wire inserting hole of a magnetic core and having such a structure as the size can be reduced while preventing positional shift of the wire. SOLUTION: A bend of sinusoidal curve, or the like, is provided between openings at the opposite ends of the wire inserting hole of a magnetic core. Since friction is increased between the inner wall of the wire inserting hole and the wire surface, positional shift is reduced and since the wire inserting hole is longer than a conventional linear wire inserting hole, contact length between the wire and the magnetic core is lengthened. Consequently, inductance or impedance is increased for the same size as compared with a conventional one resulting in reduction in size.
