PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a note type personal computer comprising a key switch device having good key operability and allowing securely switching operation by restricting a lift position of a key top and preventing link members from unnecessarily horizontally moving when the key top is not pressed down. SOLUTION: In the key switch device added to a keyboard section 102 of this note type personal computer 100, lock pins 15, 16 of the link member 7 are abutted and locked at a first end edge section 28A of a lock groove 28 in a non-pressing down state of the key top 1, and lock pins 21, 22 of the link member 8 are abutted and locked at a second end edge section 29A of a lock groove 29. In addition to an upward elastic force of a rubber spring 31 when the key top 1 is not pressed down, the lift position of the key top 1 is restricted for preventing the key top 1 from horizontally moving.
