<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in checking tickets for all of passengers sitting on reserved seats by a conductor, that the circulating takes long time, and the passengers are put in the situation that they can not leave their seats with ease during the circulating, on the other hand, for the conductor, the ticket check is the work needing much time and labor. SOLUTION: The number of a reversed seat is read when a reserved seat ticket purchased in advance is passed through a ticket reader 1. The read number of reserved seat is sent to a central control terminal 1 to be compared with a seat number, the seating of the passenger is assessed when the numbers are agreed with each other, and the information of 'boarding confirmation' is determined. The central control terminal 2 checks the reversed seat sales information against the information of 'boarding confirmation', and checks whether the passenger sits on the seat or not with respect to the seat which does not have the 'boarding confirmation' though the reserved seat ticket has been sold. When the reserved seat ticket has not been read regardless of the presence of the passenger, the passenger is required to show the reversed seat ticket, so that the passenger not showing the ticket is assessed as a dishonest passenger and ordered to move out.</p> |
