<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warning light mounted to the front part of an emergency vehicle, and mainly irradiating light frontward, with improved sideward visibility without lowering the visibility from the front side. SOLUTION: The warning light 1 comprises a body 11 to be mounted to the front part 4 of a vehicle 3 or the like, a horizontal arranged rod-shaped light source 12, and a gutter-shaped reflection surface 31 facing the peripheral surface 21 of the light source 12. The light source 12 and the gutter-shaped reflection surface 31 are arranged so as to extend outward with a prescribed angle against the state of running parallel with each other along horizontal direction. By the above, sideward visibility is improved while obtaining the visibility from the front side. Especially, the strength of the reflection light traveling frontward is increased by making the slanting angle of the gutter- shaped reflection surface 31 smaller than that of the light source 12, and the lowering of frontal visibility, caused by slanting the gutter-shaped reflection surface 31, is prevented. Further, the visibility is improved by installing a paraboloidal reflector 32 and a reflection surface 33 reflecting light frontward and sideward.</p> |
