PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation and warping of an optical recording medium with time. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a sticking type optical recording medium includes a stage (S8-1) for forming a pair of substrates, a stage (S8-2) for forming an inorganic film or the like on the surface of one side of one substrate, and a stage (S8-4) for sticking the filmed substrate and the other substrate to each other with the inorganic film inside by an adhesive, and the substrates are stuck to each other in the state satisfying formula MRD<=RTL÷KM÷W×100 for calculating a moisture absorption coefficient difference MRD between the pair of substrates on the basis of an allowable limit of bend in the radial direction before the sticking stage. In the formula, MRD is the moisture absorption coefficient difference (wt.%), and RTL is a bend allowable limit value (degree) in the radial direction, and KM is a proportional constant (degree/g), and W is the substrate weight (g). With respect to the moisture absorption coefficient, a ratio of the weight increase caused by absorption of moisture in air to the original weight is shown in percentages.
