PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for assembling a mounted body which enable uniform pressurization of the entire surface of a bonded part of the mounted body against mounted bodies in various shapes at all times without any decrease in yield nor any increase in cost. SOLUTION: After a glass substrate 3 and a chassis 1 are positioned, a balloon 11 as a freely expansible and shrinkable pressing member forming a closed space is expanded under specific pressure to press the chassis 1, which is pressed against the glass substrate 3 across a sheet bonding member 2 to bond the chassis 1 to the glass substrate 3.
