PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified surface-mounted piezoelectric vibrator which can make a product short without lowering the stability of mounting on a mount circuit board nor product yield and is inexpensive, very practical, and highly reliable. SOLUTION: The simplified surface-mounted piezoelectric vibrator is constituted by fitting a resin mold jacket 4A to a piezoelectric vibrator having a cylindrical case body 2 containing a piezoelectric element, and linear lead wires 12 and 13 which are implanted in the case body and extend in the extension direction of the cylinder. The resin mold jacket is equipped with a side-end fitting pedestal 41A where linear through holes 412A and 413A into the lead wires are inserted and metal lead terminal plates 51A and 52A for leading from the through holes to a side-end bottom surface are formed in one body, and a roof 42A which connects to the side-end fitting pedestal and covers the top surface of the case body and has a plane part 421A formed on the top surface of the roof.
