<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the algorithms for representing a business element and a relation between the business elements, so that a complicated business process can be represented in a short time and with a small presentation medium area. SOLUTION: On the right-hand side of a rectangular diagram 21 representing the business element, the left-hand sides of a rectangular diagram 23 and a rectangular diagram 25 circumscribe. Beside, on the lower side of the rectangular diagram 23, the rectangular 25 circumscribes. More specifically, if a dependency relation exists, the sides, in vertical direction, of both diagrams are used and the right-hand side of a depended business element and the left-hand side of a dependent business element circumscribe. If a parallel relation with a common postulate exists, the sides, in horizontal direction, of the both business elements circumscribe. Thus, a group of contacted diagrams represents the business process, which is displayed on the presentation medium to generate a business process chart.</p> |
