CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD OF DUPLEX SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A control apparatus and method of a duplex system are provided to switch a service of an operation module to a standby module in occurrence of a failure of the operation module without a loss by duplexing a memory for an IPC(Inter Processor Communication) as well as a main memory. CONSTITUTION: A main processor(211) controls a generation operation of a corresponding module. A duplex controller(217) is connected to a duplex bus. An IPC transmitting/receiving unit(216) is connected to an IPC bus of a different module. A main memory(212) connected to the main processor(211) and the duplex controller(217) stores data generated while a program is performed. An IPC memory(215) connected to the main processor(211), a sub-processor(213), the duplex controller(217) and the IPC transmitting/receiving unit(216) stores an IPC message processed in a corresponding module. The sub-processor(213) controls the IPC memory(215) and a local memory(214).
