A novel switching amplification apparatus capable of reducing a power source switching noise, thereby improving quality. The switching amplification apparatus includes a modulator for modulating an analog signal or a multi−bit digital signal into a binary signal, a power amplifier (1) for supplying the output pulse signal from this modulator to a power switch element (3), and a &Dgr;Σ power source (5) having &Dgr;Σ modulation means, so that the output pulse signal of the modulator of the power amplifier (1) is supplied to the &Dgr;Σ power source (5) and the pulse signal is input to the &Dgr;Σ power source (5) as an operation clock of the &Dgr;Σ power source (5), subjected to the &Dgr;Σ modulation, and supplied to the power switch element (3).
