TRANSMISSION POWER CONTROL METHOD IN WIRELESS MOBILE DEVICE

In a mobile communication system of code−division multi−connection (C−DMA), at a hand−over time when a wireless mobile device is simultaneously connected with a plurality of base stations, the wireless mobile device controls its transmission power according to transmission power control information (TPC information) from each of the base stations. If the transmission power control information from the base stations is unreliable (SP1), the line quality (SIR) and a threshold value are compared. The transmission power is so controlled to a fixed level that it may not be the maximum transmission power till the line quality exceeds the threshold and the reliability of the transmission power information is recovered(SP2).
