<p>A roller bearing capable of preventing the strength and front width of a race from being reduced by the influence of installation of a seal, allowing design and commercialization in the same dimensions as those of a non-sealed bearing, and capable of providing a fretting resistance despite the fact that the bearing is of the sealed type, comprising an inner ring (1), an outer ring (2), rolling elements (3) installed between the inner ring (1) and the outer ring (2), and seals (9) and (10), wherein the seal (9) disposed in the counter bore (8) of the outer ring (2) is press-fitted to the peripheral surface portion of a circular surface (11) forming the counter bore (8) to install the seal (9) without using a fit groove, the other seal (10) is fitted to a fit groove (12), a carbonitriding treatment is applied to either of the inner ring, outer ring, and rolling elements of the bearing formed of the outer ring, inner ring, rolling elements, and a cage, and grease using urea compound as thickener is filled in the bearing.</p> |
