For each of the radio transmission apparatuses constituting a radio network,three operation modes are provided:an operation mode to become a control station by priority,an operation mode in which operation as a control station is enabled,and an operation mode not to become a control station.There is provided a function for a user to select and set one of the three operation modes.Thus,the user can build a radio network at his/her will.By providing the function not to become a control station,there is no case of specifying as a control station a radio transmission apparatus connected to a device which cannot operate as a control station.Accordingly,it is possible to build a radio network by making a particular apparatus in the radio network function as a control station.
