IMMUNOASSAY METHOD USING MAGNETIC MARKER PARTICLES

An immunoassay method using magnetic marker particles comprises mixing a sample with magnetic marker particles obtained by immobilizing on magnetic particles a marker substance which can be bonded specifically to or compete with the substance to be measured, and forming a reaction solution of the sample and the marker substance, applying a magnetic field from a magnet to the reaction solution stored in a measuring container, the magnet being located outside a predetermined wall surface region of the measuring container, thereby collecting the magnetic marker particles in the predetermined wall surface region, and measuring the substance to be measured which is contained in the sample on the basis of a distribution state of the magnetic marker particles collected in the predetermined wall surface region.
