The subject-matter is the same as that in the main Specification 1,249,701, but the claims are directed mainly to matching the torque capacity of the main clutch (21), see Fig. 6A in abridgement of the main specification, to speed requirements, by the' accumulation of a volume of lubricating liquid on the right face of the piston (24) of the main clutch, the centrifugal pressure of this liquid opposing the clutch engaging pressure of the diaphragm spring (23) to result in a clutch engaging pressure which decreases with increase in input speed. |
