A disc brake (10) is disclosed. The disc brake (10) comprises two brake pads (16, 18), which may be pressed onto both sides of a brake disc (20), for the generation of a clamping force, a translation device (42), which may be coupled to a motor (30) and which translates a drive movement of the motor (30) into an operating movement for operating at least one of the both brake pads (16, 18) and a support device (62) to take a reaction force, introduced into the translation device (42) on generation of the clamping force. At least one force sensor is arranged between the translation device (42) and the support device (62) for recording at least a part of the reaction force. The at least one force sensor can have a planar construction.
