The invention provides a having saddle-shape microprocessor/single-chip in-circuit emulator of directly connecting with the target system. The emulator has a mechanistic structure composed of one or several mounting together printed circuit board. Every printed circuit board connected by connector between printed circuit boards, forcing the printed circuit board assembly composed of one or several printed circuit boards. The printed circuit board assembly has all function parts of microprocessor/single-chip in-circuit emulator, including the communication interface, the whole emulation circuit, and the emulation probe. It can be directly emulating connected with the target system and can be communicated with the terminal. The printed circuit board assembly is wholly mounted on the target system by the emulation probe. The in-circuit emulator of the invention has small size and high security, is used and carried conveniently; it's frequency higher than the prior.
