The method for producing a connection between an electronic component (2) and contact elements (5) involves joining of the relatively thin connector wires (3) of the component to the respective contact elements, followed by stabilization of the joint zones by preliminary injection of a plastic compound. An Independent claim is also included for the resultant connection.
