The exchange surface is part of a material and heat exchange reactor and forms a liquid film on a surface. the reactor has twp channels systems separated by material but thermally connected. One system has gas passing through it, the other has liquid. The surfaces are on a double plate, and are coated with a thin layer of small solid-state particles so that there are clearances and cavities between the particles.
