The invention relates to a jumpsuit which can be laid out completely flat. The inventive jumpsuit takes the general form of two perpendicular sections (1, 3), one (1) of said sections forming the sleeves and the other (3) forming a pocket to protect the stomach and legs once the suit has been folded over. Said jumpsuit also comprises lateral means (14, 16; 15, 17; 21, 22; 21', 22'; 46, 47) for fixing the folded-over portions of sleeve (4, 5) and the folded-over portions of pocket (7, 8) to one another respectively in a continuous manner. The invention is particularly suitable for very young children.
