PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a release point of a brake pressure set in accordance with a stroke of a clutch pedal by automatically following mechanical abrasion of a clutch without additional hardware. SOLUTION: When a driver starting with the usage of the uphill start auxiliary device repeatedly operates the clutch pedal, clutch pedal stroke operation stops for a while at a half-clutch condition wherein a clutch connection condition is optimum. The operational feeling of the driver follows the mechanical abrasion of the clutch and the clutch pedal moves to a direction wherein the stroke of the clutch pedal becomes shallow. With usage of it, the operation condition of the clutch pedal is observed, the release point optimum for the brake pressure with respect to the stroke is calculated, and the release point of the brake pressure automatically follows the mechanical abrasion of the clutch.
