PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonous complex material involving Ni or an Ni alloy and its producing method with high yield. SOLUTION: The carbonous complex material involving nickel compound is produced as follows. (1) The carbonous material filled with Ni or the Ni alloy in a void of 10-90% in nanoflake carbon tube or a tube of telescopic structured multi-layer carbon nanotube is heated to 600-1100 deg.C in a reaction furnace. An inert gas pressure is adjusted to 10<-5> Pa-200 kPa and oxygen concentration is adjusted to be B/A=1×10<-10> -1×10<-1> where B/A is denoted as a ratio of oxygen amount B (Ncc) to reaction furnace volume A (L), with halogenated Ni or at least a kind selected from (a) halogenated Ni and (b) halogenated iron, halogenated cobalt in the reaction furnace. (2) The carbonous material is heat-treated at 600-1100 deg.C in the reaction furnace in which a pyrolytic carbon source is introduced and the inert gas pressure is adjusted to 10<-5> Pa-200 kPa. |
