PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent ink jet recording sheet which sufficiently satisfies various characteristics such as a light resistance of an image, ozone gas resistance. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording sheet comprises at least an ink acceptive layer and a glossiness regulating layer on a base material in such a manner that the acceptive layer contains a hardly soluble organic acid metal salt and a cationic dye fixing agent, and the regulating layer contains fine particle pigment and a binder resin as main gradients.
