PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the base material for an ink jet printing sheet, which is mainly made of a thermoplastic resin and hardly develops blocking, and also to provide the ink jet printing sheet, which hardly develops blocking by using the base material mainly made of the thermoplastic resin. SOLUTION: In the base material mainly made of the thermoplastic resin for the ink jet printing sheet, at least the ten-point mean roughness (Rz) of one side of the material is set to be 2 μm or more. Further, in the base material consisting of the base material mainly made of the thermoplastic resin and an ink accepting layer formed on one side of the base material, the ten-point means roughness (Rz) of the other side, on which the ink accepting layer is not laminated, of the base material is set to be 2 μm or more. |
