PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet in which an image transfer rate is not changed by a change of environmental temperature and humidity at a laser recording time without bringing about an image quality deterioration and to provide an image forming material in which an image transfer rate is not changed by a change of environmental temperature and humidity at a laser recording time without bringing about an image quality deterioration. SOLUTION: The image forming material comprises an image receiving sheet and a thermal transfer sheet. In this material, the transfer sheet has at least a photothermal conversion layer having a ratio (ODLH/TLH) of an optical density (ODLH) to a layer thickness (TLH μm) of 0.57 or more, and an image forming layer in such a manner that the conversion substance of the conversion layer is a dye having a specific structure. |
