PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device using a three-dimensional display device which restricts contradiction between the physiological factors of a stereoscopic vision as a display part, and can display the three-dimensional stereoscopic image of a color image without using spectacles. SOLUTION: The portable device has an external casing and the three- dimensional display device which is arranged in the external casing and can display the three-dimensional stereoscopic image. The three-dimensional display device has a pair of transmission type display units and a pair of polarizers arranged so as to sandwich the pair of display units in between. The polarization direction of a two-dimensional image displayed on each display unit is independently changed in each display unit, and transmittance of the two-dimensional image displayed on each display unit seen from a user is independently changed in each display unit. |
