PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder having a medium guide part in a simple constitution which can prevent a recording medium from being stained with waste ink. SOLUTION: The medium guide part 207 arranged opposite to a recording head 208 is formed integrally to a housing 107 of an apparatus body, and has a waste ink groove 207a formed thereto with an inclined face for guiding the waste ink to the outside. Since parts and working for mounting the medium guide part to the housing of the apparatus body can be eliminated, costs can be reduced. Moreover, since the waste ink is discharged to the outside of the medium guide part even if an amount of the waste ink increase, the staining of the recording medium on the medium guide part can be prevented. |
