PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire for two-wheeled vehicle capable of simultaneously improving rectilinear movement stabilizing performance and a cornering performance and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: In a belt layer forming step, a belt strip-like member 35 is wound in a relation of Rss>Rsc, wherein Vc is a circumferential speed of the tire of a core 32, Vb is a feeding speed of the member 35 having belt cords 35A in a tire widthwise direction, Rsc is a ratio of the feeding speed Vs of the member 35 in the tire widthwise direction in a central region of the tire in the widthwise direction to the circumferential speed Vc of the tire of the core 32, and Rss is a ratio of both sides of the tire in the widthwise direction. Thus, an inclining angleθ1 of the cords 35A of the member 35 to the circumferential direction of the tire is decreased, and an inclining angleθ2 at both widthwise sides of the tire is increased.
