PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of controlling indoor air for preventing the inside of a room from becoming uncomfortable owing to the room being stuffy. SOLUTION: A hydrogen gas detector 1 is provided in a room R being a control object, and an output section 3 is provided for obtaining a gas detection output from the hydrogen gas detector 1. Hereby, it is realized to estimate the room R being stuffy based upon the gas detection output. Further, an alarming means may be provided for alarming the rate of contamination of air based upon the room being stuffy, and a control mechanism may be provided for altering the operation state of a ventilating apparatus.
