PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impulse turbine simple in structure and easy to manufacture. SOLUTION: An impeller 1 is formed by arranging a plurality of blades 3 between a pair of spaced disks 2 radially at a designated blade angleβto the tangent of the outer peripheral surface of the disk. This impulse turbine is adapted to rotate the impeller by a jet jetted from a nozzle 4. The number of blades is set to 20 or less and the blade angle is set to 40 to 70 degrees.
