摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal partitioning material for an image display unit, which can cope with requirement for high definition and high brightness, and is superior in a handling property, by controlling a residual stress of an Fe-Ni alloy or an Fe-Ni-Cr alloy within a particular range, and provide a metal partition for the image display unit using the same. SOLUTION: The metal partitioning material for the image display unit is the Fe-Ni alloy or the Fe-Ni-Cr alloy including, by wt.% 38-52% Ni, and the residual stress is controlled to 0.2-0.7 degrees by half-width of a X-ray diffraction peak for the face (311). The metal partition for the image display unit can be made, by means of forming several holes having an insulation film in the partitioning material.
