PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduce iron discharge apparatus which is a simplified one and is unlikely to be worn even with its use over a long period of time in a high temperature furnace for realization of the long life. SOLUTION: A reduced iron discharge apparatus is adapted such that it includes a water cooling rotary shaft rotatably supported on a frame, and a continuous spiral blade comprising a plurality of sub blades extending spirally along an outer periphery of the water cooling rotary shaft with a bolt and a nut, and the spiral blade is united in the direction of the thickness thereof, and further Vickers hardness at 900 deg.C of the material of the spiral blade is above 110 and less than 470. Preferably, the material of the spiral blade takes Co and Cr as chief ingredients and contains W as required, or it takes Cr as a chief ingredient and contains one kind or two kinds of Ni, Co or Mn as required.
