PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper cutting device capable of cutting paper sheets easily in a plurality of directions. SOLUTION: In the paper cutting device 1, a form carrier mechanism 5, a lateral cutting mechanism 6, a longitudinal cutting mechanism 7 and a static electricity removing brush 8 are assembled in this order from the upstream side. The lateral cutting mechanism 6 is for cutting sheets of paper with a sheering blade in the direction orthogonally crossing the carrying direction. The longitudinal cutting mechanism 7 is for cutting the form with a rotary blade in the carrying direction. Since the cutting device has the two kinds of cutting mechanisms, cutting in two directions can be performed efficiently.
