PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cutting inserts 9, 109, 209, 309 and 409, regarding a tool for chip removing and machining including insert holding tools 1, 101 and 201, the cutting inserts 9, 109, 209, 309 and 409, and a fastening member 18 for fastening the cutting inserts 9, 109, 209, 309 and 409 to the insert holding tools 1, 101 and 201. SOLUTION: The insert holding tools 1, 101 and 201 have supporting surfaces 3, 103 and 203 for demarcating insert seats for the cutting inserts 9, 109, 209, 309 and 409. The supporting surfaces 3, 103 and 203 form an angle of 45 deg. to second base surfaces (Bp2) of the insert holding tools 1, 101 and 201. |
