PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively perform pressing of a liner on an opening part of a container by deformation of the corner part and to ensure hermeticity of the opening part of the container in a roll-on cap with the liner for sealing. SOLUTION: The roll-on cap, consisting of a shell 2 and the liner 3 for sealing on the inner face of its top board part 11 and to be mounted on the opening part 40 of the container, is constituted in such a way that before roll-on molding is performed, the corner part 12 between the top board part 11 and a skirt part 13 is formed into upper and lower two steps 12a and 12c and an annular recessed part 12b as the boundary and the liner 3 in which an annular rib 24 is hung down to the height around the lower end of the corner part 12 on the top end outer edge side of the opening part 40 of the container is provided so as to be brought into tight contact with the shell 2 to a part in the neighborhood of the recessed part 12b of the corner part 12 and to form a gap between it and the annular rib 24 at the lower step part 12c of the corner part 12 and when the roll-on molding is performed, by deforming inward the lower step part 12c of the corner part of the shell 2, the annular rib 24 of the liner 3 is pressed on the opening part 40 of the container. |
