PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which enables improvement of safety and secure treatment of drain water without increase in the number of part items by protecting a two-way valve and by guiding the drain water generated in a heat exchanger. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger, a drain pans 12A, 12B, a blower 11, etc., are accommodated inside the main body of the air conditioner 1. The heat exchanger is constituted of a front heat exchanger part 9A and a rear heat exchanger part 9B. These front and rear heat exchanger parts communicate via piping, and the midway part of this piping 25 for communication is provided with the two-way valve 20 which is controlled so as to be freely opened and closed depending on an operation mode. The front heat exchanger part is equipped with a two-way valve cover 21 provided with a cover part 12a which covers the two-way valve. This two-way valve cover is provided integrally with a drain guide part 21b which receives the drain water dropping down from a U-turn part 23 of the side part of the front heat exchanger part and which leads the drain water to the drain pan 12A. |
