PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel metalladichalcogenolene-ring including complex, particularly cobaltadithiolene complex, which can be suitably used as a high- functional material, for example, an optical material, or a catalyst for asymmetric synthetic reactions. SOLUTION: The novel cobaltadithiolene complex is represented by the following chemical structure (I) (wherein formula (III) is cyclopentadienyl, Ph is phenyl, R1 is an organic group of 4-18 carbons) or (II) (wherein formula (III) is cyclopentadienyl, Ph is phenyl, R2 is an organic group of 1 or more carbons and the carbon atom to which R2 and OH are bound is asymmetric). |
