SOLUTION: By attaching a planing board 34 on a lower part of a hull 4 of the water jet propelled craft, and coupling an output shaft 29 of an engine 6 mounted on the hull 4 and an impeller shaft 43 of a jet propeller 40 mounted on the planing board 34 by gearboxes 46A and 46B, the planing board 34 planes on a water surface during planing and the hull 4 is largely lifted from the water surface.
