PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scraper device for a piston rod of a reciprocating compressor. SOLUTION: This scraper device 10 for the piston rod 11 of the reciprocating compressor comprises at least one scraper ring 12 or 12' provided with at least one lip 27 or 28 facing the surface of the rod 11, and a container box 13 for accommodating the scraper ring 12 and aligning with the rod 11. The scraper ring 12 is formed by applying mechanical treatment to a deformable plastic material. The container box 13 is accommodated in a support member 14, leaving radial play 34.
