PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner and a blow-out air control method of the same, capable of sequentially changing the direction and the speed of airflow and, according to this method, capable of improving the mixing performance of air and amenity. SOLUTION: The air conditioner having air blow-out ports for sending air into a room after effecting heat exchange is provided with a plurality of louvers 16a, 16b, provided in parallel in the air blow-out outlet port to change the direction of outlet air, driving devices 22a, 22b for pivoting the louvers individually, and a control means 20, carrying out at least one time a control to pivot the plurality of louvers sequentially into a direction increasing the opening degrees of the same by a predetermined angle and pivot the plurality of louvers, arrived at the upper limit of the opening degree, sequentially into a direction reducing the opening degree by a predetermined angle by controlling the driving devices.
