PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring head having a very simple structure of a guide means, reduced in the number of part, items inexpensively manufacturable and stiffened by shortening the length of a head main body shaft, with excellent followup ability for a tube stock W and a wide application range. SOLUTION: In this boring head, an inner peripheral surface Wo of the tube stock W is cut by driving the head main body shaft 11 provided with a cutter 12 at a tip part and the guide means 13 for guiding the cutter 12 concentrically with the tube stock W in sliding contact with the inner peripheral surface Wo of the tube stock W on this side to be pulled in the axial direction, being rotated by a drive shaft connected to the head main body shaft 11. The guide means 13 is fitted into the head main body shaft 11 and is constituted of a cylindrical guide member 14 expansible in the radial direction by elastic force and formed with a convex-shaped annular swollen part 15 on an outer peripheral surface.
