PURPOSE: A rotational resonance type compressor assembly is provided to easily control the amount of refrigerant circulation, while achieving improved use convenience of the air conditioner adopting the compressor assembly. CONSTITUTION: A rotational resonance type compressor assembly comprises a compressor unit(20), a motor unit(30), and a resonance unit(40). The motor unit includes a stator having a pair of stator teeth parts spaced apart from each other and wound with a coil; a rotor mounted in the stator, and which has a pair of rotor teeth parts corresponding to the stator teeth parts, wherein the rotor reciprocates between both stator teeth parts when the stator teeth parts are synchronized with the power frequency and alternately excited; and a rotation shaft(36) press fit into the center of the rotor, and which has a protruded end. The resonance unit improves an operating efficiency of the motor unit by performing a mechanical resonance to the rotation shaft of the motor unit. The resonance unit includes a frame; and a pair of torsion springs(42,43) mounted in the frame and connected to the rotation shaft so as to apply rotating forces to the rotation shaft through a stopper rod(37) coupled to the rotation shaft.
