PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a recording sheet in a sheet discharge tray from becoming difficult to be confirmed due to an operating section for setting the imaging conditions even when a sheet discharge tray is disposed below a reading means. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises means for imaging on a recording sheet, means for discharging the recording sheet on which an image is formed by the imaging means, a sheet discharge tray 35 for stacking the recording sheets discharged from the discharging means, a reading means for scanning a document, and an operating section 170 for setting the imaging conditions. An open section is formed between the sheet discharge tray 35 and the reading means by disposing the reading means above the sheet discharge tray 35. The operating section 170 is projected from an upper part of the open section to one side face side of the sheet discharge tray 35 on one side face side of the sheet discharge tray 35 in the direction parallel with the discharging direction of the sheet discharging means in the body of imaging apparatus. |
